As a spoil to myself, we decided to go to Qingdao for a weekend. We have been here for almost 3 years and we have never stayed over in Qingdao, a city only 2 hours away.
Well we decided to do it 5 star style as it was a little spoil. The Intercontinental Qingdao.
We went out exploring along the waterfront. Qingdao's Marina hosted the Yatching event in the Olympics.
Living in Rizhao you miss the Western food that you can buy in other bigger cities. So while in Qingdao we had our fill of Burger King and Sub Way.

The evening was even more stunning with all the lights.

We also had Room Service the last evening. Felt like a queen this weekend.
