As promised, I am sharing our visit to the Shanghai aquarium and zoo.
The gardens were a beautiful sight all manicured and brightly coloured. You know you are in spring when you see this.
Some of the animals looked happy, and some did not look happy at all. But a good variety of animals in the Zoo.

These penguins were very curious about Paul's camera. One even tried to bite it.

We also visited the Shanghai Aquarium. It was a good visit. But there were also so many school children running around as they were on a field trip.
The Aquarium has beautiful scenes depicting habitats.
They also had a underwater glass tunnel, and you could either stand on the conveyor belt and it took you along the tunnel or walk on the side of it at your own pace.
The lighting also brought out the best in the sea life.
After visiting the aquarium, we stopped off and Mr Yangs for some famous dumplings and walked around the area for some sightseeing.

Wow how beautiful are those flowers. I can't wait to visit next spring. Also you walking through the glass aquarium took me back to Dubai when we walked through a similar glass aquarium. Lots of love Mama Sue xxx
