Dongmen Pedestrian Street with Tania

A friend of mine from Pinetown Junior, who now works at YWIES, in Guangzhou, decided to visit Shenzhen over the National holidays.  So when she was here we decided to visit some places we have already been to and some new places, such as the Dongmen Pedestrian Street.

It was very interesting, another tourist destination with lots of side stalls and haggling.

There were also a lot of street food to choose from.  And it was yummy.

Below:  These were mist sprayers that were spraying to keep the people cool.  The weather is so hot.

After Dongmen we took Tania and co to Louhu  5 story market.  Inside the market is a lovely little restaurant, called Taste, where we went and had lunch.  Something everyone should do when visiting the market.  We did not walk the whole area, but it was a wonderful day.

There are optometrists at the market and Jemma, Drama teacher in Guangzhou, had her eyes tested at the market.

Keep reading and I'll keep writing.
