Paul and I were invited to join Percy and his wife to an afternoon lunch at the Skylite Hotel in Shennan Middle Road. We were treated to a buffet. There was a variety of food available to choose from. Percy is from Ladysmith in South Africa. We also me Bala who works at the school and he is from Malaysia.
After lunch we took a walk through Shenzhen park.
As we walked we came across this scaffolding which held art and photography from across the world. It was a unique art gallery.
We then carried on to a flower market. It is cheaper to buy flowers here and make your own bouquet than to buy one at a flower shop or online. They bring in big boxes of flowers all the time.
A shop named after me. Ha Ha.
Boxes of flowers arrive constantly during the day.
A sea of colours fill the side walk.
We then walked a little further and walk through pet shops. Selling all sorts of pets, from turtles, to fish, to rabbits, to birds and chipmunks.
Percy's son.
It was a lovely day.
Keep reading and I'll keep writing.
