Well it has been a very busy weekend indeed.
On Friday at school we had a teacher in service day. This is where the children stay at home but the teachers go into school and have training. After the day at school, Kathy had invited us to Yummy's as she was taking us out to dinner. So we said we would meet her there at 6pm. Off we went and caught a taxi. We showed him the menu pamphlet we had so he could read the address. Yip, like I said, so he could read the address. But I guess he couldn't read at all. He made a U-Turn and was wanting to take us to Qingdao, TWO HOURS AWAY. Eventually we had to tell him to take us to RB Mart, a big shopping centre and then direct him the rest of the way with hand signals.
Once we got there it got pretty full. We ordered pizza and salads and had coldrinks. It was delicious.
We met another Chinese co worker there.Crystal.
Sarah eventually met a Chinese girl that was taller than her. She was our waitress.
We took the leftovers home.
When you go out, if you don't like using the local toilets, then you have to just wait till you get home. But it seems that I am getting the nack of it.
The shared men's and ladies basins. The ladies toilet. The toilet paper doesn't go down the toilet but rather in the dustbin. This one was nice and clean.
Thank you Kathy. You really spoilt us. We were so full that we caught a taxi home and rolled into bed.
