While Paul and the girls were in Shanghai for the month
Kerry had to write exams, Vivian asked Chris and myself to go out to supper
with her at the hot pot restaurant. It
was a very chilly evening. This time we
did not sit in a private room, but in the main part of the restaurants.
We sat next to the window of the restaurant and felt like we
were on display with everyone coming over to look at us from the outside.
Vivian order from the menu. It is newspaper and you have to write on it.
The food and vegetables we ate. And right below is the sauces you can choose from.
We also had some sort of pulled noodles, and we were treated
to a little show as the Chinese man make them in front of us with a little
dance.
After the supper at the hot pot restaurant, we went upstairs
to another restaurant for some coffee.
It was well after 10 before I got home. It was an enjoyable evening.
