While Kerry was here visiting, she decided to write her exams in Shanghai. However, her exams spread over four weeks. So I booked a holiday home for that amount of time and Paul, Kerry and Sarah all stayed in Shanghai for the month.
Even though it was mainly for Kerry to write her exams, they had a fantastic time getting to know Shanghai.
I was at home on my own but virtually I was not thanks to Skype. We skyped every evening and left it on till we all went to bed. Felt like they were here all the time.
During their stay in Shanghai we had snow in Rizhao. It snowed so hard, that we had to close our school for a day as it was too dangerous walking or driving to school. Here in China they grade the roads and don't use salt to melt it. So it is still very dangerous. But we had fun at school with the children.
