DOCTOR LISA

I WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE A NURSE

These last 17 days, I have had my share of being Doctor / Nurse to Paul, Kerry, Sarah and myself.

First it was me who needed to treat myself with a bad dose of the runs.  Thank goodness we thought of Imodium.  Then Paul got sick.  Terrible fever that would not break.  Don't know what it was from as there was no other symptoms except for the high temperatures.  But Doctor Lisa prescribed some grandpa tablets and a homoeopathic remedy, again we brought over from SA, and after four 6 hourly doses, disappeared just as quick as it showed its ugly head.  Then Kerry got the fever so Doctor Lisa prescribed the same.

I think the worst of all the Doctor Lisa had to do was cut out the stitches from Paul's ear.  This is when I know that I could not be a nurse, let alone a doctor.  I had to sit during the procedure a couple of times as I thought I was going to faint.  I know, I know, a ninnie.  But I was BORN to be a TEACHER instead.
