Safari World

The theme parks here in Shenzhen are actually quite amazing. 

We visited the Safari Park in Shenzhen. 

But it is not only a Safari Park, it has a 'Water world' section for the kids, a very small aquarium and a dolphin show as well.

We left early and spent most of the day walking around the park.  The park is set up very similar to Window of the World Park.  There are different areas with different animals usually from the same part of the world together.  Here are some of the animals.

You can also take a bus into the enclosure and the park attendants give you a stick with meat on the end to place outside the protective grate bars on the bus to feed the tigers.  And because you are sitting higher than the tigers, they have to stand on their back legs to reach it.  There are still screams within the bus.

This is a lion cross a tiger.  It has a specific name... A LIGER !!

Also different types of birds, snakes and fish and crocodiles at the park.

 There are part attendants everywhere where you can have photo opportunities.

Here we could hold a parrot and a snake.  Obviously we have to pay extra to be able to take photos.

 I had to have my photo taken to show my class as this is the year of the Rooster.

These Koi a ready to eat anything.  You just hand your hand over the ledge and they all group together thinking you are feeding them opening and closing their mouths wide.
